Has there ever been a commercial song about the London Underground, I can't think of one. I do think this cider is edging close to tasting as watery as it looks. That's not entirely fair as it does have a very light sweet elderflower flavour, and also a tiny of yellow in appearance. Smooth but you can't help think it's generally understated.

Clear bottle 50 cl. Pours almost crystal clear with only a vague tint of green. Subtle but fairly clean apple notes, I don't really sense any elderflower. Medium body, sweet apple notes and only a faint note of the elderflower. Absolutely no tartness. It's sweet but not cloying as other Lilley ciders. 161024

5/7/2024. From BIAB at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. John bought a pint of this, I had a small pour. Poured clear very pale gold with no head. Aroma is sweet elderflower, light apple. Quite sweet. Not that enjoyable. Glad it wasn’t me with the pint.

Looks like water with a hint of gold in it. Sweet and syrupy. Tastes of elderflower cordial with added dust, but far, far too sweet. Teeth-dissolvingly sweet. Elderflower cordial is refreshing, this is just sticky. Frankly it's not much better than your Kopparbergs and Rekorderligs. Avoid.

500ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Bright watery colour body with a pale yellowish shade. Naked surface, scattered lacing. Subdued smell of apple skins with a floral scent. Rather sweet taste of apples followed by a mid-dry, sweet ending. Drinkable with some refreshing moments, in smaller amounts. Shared with Finn. (rating no 21600) (Tromsø 09.04.2022).

Half pint box @ The Abbey. Very pale clear gold appearance. Really thin bodied, even by Lilleys standards. Comes across like elderflower cordial in overall character. Don't think it really aims to be anything else.

BIAB at Half Moon, Darlington. Pale clear gold colour, no head and elderflower aroma with slight vinegar notes. Taste is floral elderflower, sweet, abit sugary with some slightly tart and citric apple. Syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry finish. OK.

On draught at the Loaded Dog, Leicester. Light yellow, hazy. Sweet, ight vinous smell with apple, grape, grass and floral notes. Sweet taste with some sour/bitterness mid-sip, but it reverts back to far too sweet for the finish. Some of Lilley's flavoured ciders are pretty good but this one is very middle-of-the-road.

Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear gold bubbly head. Some dryness. Some elderflower. Some sweetness overall. Some apple juice character. OK. Elderflower flavour is good. Too sweet overall.
