330ml can from Green Dragon Ale House, Whitby. Orange amber colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of mellow citrus hop. Taste is malt, caramel with citrusy orange & grapefruit hoppy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Can shared in Hackney - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear, orange-gold with foamy, white head. The nose has some pale grains, tangerine peel. Light sweet flavour with notes of flinty minerality, more tangerine peel, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some grainy pale malts, straw, lemon peel, bitter hay. Enjoyable stuff if somewhat basic.

Bodney Bier Huis bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the can. Light haze gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, some raw grainy sweetness. Little tangy spicy citrus. Dry finish. It limps along.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Second attempt at ticking this one, after the missus chugged the first one while I wasn’t looking. Floater laden, coppery amber colour. Thick and frothy, fully lacing, off white head. Nose has a mix of syrupy malts and sticky pine. Some hop spice. Not unlike an amber ale, or a bottle of something four months old that’s been shipped from the US. Taste is similarly sweet, with a piny bitterness. Light to medium body. Medium fizz. Piny bitterness to finish. Decent, albeit a little old school.

Can from Fresh Fields Market. It pours rich amber with a crazy amount of white floaters. The aroma is fresh, sweet, pine needles, brown bread, touch of toffee and dull marmalade. The taste is dry, bitter, piney, varnish, resin, pithy citrus, grassy, quite raw, grapefruit and tannin with a drying finish. Light - medium body and average carbonation. Not bad overall, but she certainly ain't a looker! Probably a bit substandard for MR anyhow.

330ml can. Clear golden amber with floating sediment, small off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, malts, toffee. Taste is malty, grains, citrus, quite a bitter hop finish. Light-medium body, soft carbonation. A bit disappointing from MR to be honest.
