Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. It pours cloudy bright purple with a decent pink – purple head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, tangy, sweet blackcurrant, some barnyard funk and fruit jam. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, blackcurrant, sweet – sour character, funk, sour candy, berry skin, pithy, barnyard, sherbet, minerals, wood and good mouth – pucker with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very expressive fruit character. Vibrant and tasty.

@ BXLfest 2017. Couleur acajou voire pourpre, col fin rosé tenace. Arôme au bouquet bien fruité mettant en avant des notes savoureuses de lambic, funk, voire de fines notes épicées, le tout sous couvert d'un fruité plaisant offrant des effluves de cassis accompagnent le tout. Palais met très bien en avant les notes de cassis qui est assez profond sur cette version, retrouve un léger effet fleuri , fini râpeux en bouche, note de funk, cuir et sécheresse perdurant qui semble être accentuée par le cassis.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 2. Bright red blackcurrant juice. Taste is perfect acidity just a hint of funk, some vinegar. Taste is acidic, more acidic less funky than the other, juicy, faint vinegar, puckering sour blackcurrant. Acidic juice fruit, wonder fruit expression Bloody lovely.

Tap. Hazy purple color with pinkish head. Aroma is cassis, vinegar, woody funky, earthy. Taste is super tart cassis, woody, leathery, a bit earthy. Silky mouthfeel, somehow full-bodied while still being dry. Low carbonation. Awesome, this really did it for me!

Keg at Beaverfest. A hazy almost meaty grape aroma. An opaque grape red. Frothy off-white head. Medium- heavy sour with an umami edge. Juicy if acisic. Thick bodied. Slick. Flat carb. Astringent finish. Characterful. Enjoyable.
