Bottle. Cloudy golden, bit amber. Starchy smell, slightly lemon? Surprisingly soft, with decent tartness. Cant really put my finger on what it tastes like, guessing it is birch? Right at the end chalk. Not bad. Very easy to drink. Love the amount of sour-but-not-sweet.

Bottle courtesy of Ursula, tasted with the München Ratebeer Group Christmas Tasting Friday 2nd December 2022. Pours a sort of burnished gold, aroma is unusual other than farmyard I am at a loss, tangy, tart and super refreshing, dry finish.

Bottle at the Garching XMas tasting. Murky yellow body, white head. Big, odd, sweet, pleasant, I guess barnyard, yeah, Aspirin, Jonas is not off, sweetish though, lightly malty. Lovely, soft, fruity taste, tart finish, so damn balanced, this fruitiness may well be birch-related, but I'm not sure, the Aspirin connection definitely suits it, bit earthy. Quite tasty in a way.

Hazy yellow-gold, mild head. Very funky sour nose, a bit of rubbery note. Super complex flavor, tastes like a farm smells on a rainy day. Relatively smooth acidity for a crazy wild farmhouse beer. Excellent example of funky wild deliciousness.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is barn and earth, lemony, fresh too. Taste is treebark, lemony, herbal, nicely balanced. Silky mouthfeel with sparkly carbonation. Tasty!

A saison at first, but with a bit of caramelly maltyness present. Fairly traditional, not getting much tree parts except maybe some slight herbal acidity. Fun. Tasty.

Draught Ultradense & -fine, super regular light cream head over fully hazy orangey amber beer. Oranges, ginger, toast. Very dense head hampers nasal perception. Bit woody. Quite sour, notes of pipe tobacco, sour leaves (indeed!), hint of nutmeg, lactic acid and vegetable acids, cacao powder. Quite slick, but light body. Good carbonation; bit oily aftertaste. I've never felt so hungry that I had to chew on birchleaves, but I can indeed imagine they sport this kind of flavour. All in all, better than the sum of its parts.
