(Draught at Gollem Craft Beer, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2022) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, toffee, grapefruit, orange peel and pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, citrus peel, apricots, pine needles and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. On the shy side, but tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle at ACBF’16 with Borresteijn, Kermis, Zlotta & the Queen of Whales. Clear, light amber color. Aroma’s: light hops, a bit sweet, jam. Ratronasal there’s light butter, fruits, sweet. Flavor is mostly neutral. Light bodied. Light bitterness in the finish.

Bottle sample at ACBF’16. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, some floral hint, crackers, some resin. Flavour is likewise, a bit British like the regular Pale Ale, decent bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied, a bit watery, but certainly not bad.

Bottle at Amsterdam Craft Beer Festival. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and light fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at ’Yoepz’ (Amsterdam). Clear, dark amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, tan to white head. Sweetish, fruity aroma of caramel, orange jam, mango and some pine. Sweetish, fruity and slightly resiny taste of caramel, mango, orange jam and some pine, followed by a short, medium bitter, resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Nice!
