Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, coconut, toast, dark choco, oily, brown sugars. Palate is medium sweet, oily, sticky, lowish carboantion. Grate.

A can shared in Canary Wharf, London - many thanks to Dan for this treat. Pours clear, deep brown with a small, foamy tan head. Delicious beer, with notes of toasted coconuts, fudge, roast, coffee, dried berries. Full bodied and oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish. Excellent. Impressed by this one.

440ml can. Pours pitch black with a very thin tan head. Aroma of tonka, chocolate, coffee, bourbon. Taste is sweet, and very rich with tonka, chocolate, coffee, warming bourbon, dark malts, bittersweet. Full bodied, extremely thick like oil, very smooth. Phenomenal stout, easily one of the best of 2019.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, nicely tangy, good dark chocolate, nice tonka tang and mild vanilla. Smooth ripe fruits. Smooth finish.

Sampled at THT December. Black with small dark beige head. Lots of chocolate, sweet malts, tonka beans, roasted malts, vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, dry oak, chocolate icecream. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied.

Pours black, no head. Smell is liquorice, coffee, milder dark chocolate. Bit boozy. Mildly ashy. Taste is full, creamy, milder tonka. Full dark chocolate. Nice roastyness. Sweet, milder alcohol than anticipated. Very low carbo. Dense body. Very nice !
