330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours hazy gold. white head. Aroma is light funk. Didn’t expect a berliner from the description, but this is crisp and light with a nice lemon lactic character. More cascara would’ve been nice, but it’s a pleasant muggy evening refresher.

Bottle. Cotteridge, Brum. Hazy, orange colour. Ring and film of fluffy white head. Nose has bready malts. Fairly wheaty. Hint of pineapple. Hint of something more earthy (cascara? I’m not familiar with it). Taste is soft sour. Some earthy character. Pretty dry. Clean, and very crisp mouthfeel. Very light body. Dry, light tart finish.

On tap at the eebria Taproom Bermondsey. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. lacto sour aroma. A modern sour that lacks authentic funk. Sour lactic lemon.ok but like everyone else in the UK. Some character but as close to gueze as i am to george Clooney.

Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has good fine minerally crispness. Light thin malts. A mild tartness, lemon - orange. LIttle floralness. Modest spice. Vague chocolatey note on the back end. Dry finish. Lemony linger. Not bad.

Keg at Eebria Taproom. It pours hazy bright golden with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, mellow, sweet, juicy, cake, custard, rhubarb crumble, wood and dull earthy cascara. The taste is crisp, fresh, tart, pineapple chunks, cake, fruit crumble, lemon zest, earth,a wood and jasmine with a dry, peppery finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not a huge amount of cascara character, but a pretty nice beer anyhow.
