440ml can online from Red Elephant, Truro. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: juicy, pineapple. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, light dry, again pineapple dominates. Medium body with soft carbonation. A little sweet and perhaps lacking the bitterness of a west coast pale, otherwise very pleasant.

Can. Hazy gold beer, patchy white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has low carbonation. Thin malts, very mild sweetness. A touch of orange hop bitterness. Light dry finish. Nothing off here but it’s apologetic and wishy washy, really not doing anything for me.

Can from Warwick Real Ale Shop, Warwick, consumed in a field at Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy Friday 12th August 2016 Hazy hazy gold colour with a large bubbly white head, a good steady bitterness, it’s quite dry. Not quite the hop monster that others have been today. Pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, minerals, metal and lime zest. Flavour of stainless steel, tonic water and grapefruit. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and refreshing, but lacking the tropical fruit character I associate with Citra and Mosaic.

Can. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Pale amber. Light haze. Bubbly, messy, sticky, just off white head. Nice, juicy, slightly dank, citrusy hoppage. Notes of pineapple and ripe red berry. Sweet, mint toffee malt backdrop. Smells great. Taste is light, orange zest bitter. A little sweetness. Crisp, clean, slightly sharp mouthfeel. Bitterness rises toward the end, staying citrusy and zesty. Very nice sessioner.
