33cl bottle at Kulminator. Pours a lightly hazy, deep gold/orange with a thin, clumpy white head. Nose is fruit, apple, rum, booze, candy sugar, lightly malty. Flavor is sweet, candy, fall fruits, boozy, rum, strong alcohol. Finish is full bodied and still a touch hot. Mellowed with aged but could definitely go a few more years.

(Botle, 0.33 l, at Kulminator) The beer poured amber and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, raisins and dried plum. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, raisin, vineousness, sweetness, hops, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry, vineous, fruity and mildly bitter. A superb combination of sweet and tart flavours.

Bottle. Pours golden amber, light white head. Notes of liqour, pear, funky yeast and "punch" in the aroma. The taste is sweet, alcoholic and warming. Almost like a barley wine in that aspect. It also has got notes of cognac, clove, apricots and a small hop bitterness in the end. Sticky texture. Medium bodied.

cloudy orange with some yeast from the too heavy pour i made. smooth white lacing head. nice aroma which seems to be a mix of stale hops, citrus, spices, belgian yeasty dry notes, spices, a little like an old barley wine. nice flavor is sweet, spicy, faint fruity (fruity flavor is very delicately yellow fruity and spicy). alc. well hidden but can be felt in the nose when exhaling.

Bottle shared with tarheels86 at the Kulminator. Clear dark golden color til the yeast was added, medium white head, great lacing. Aroma of sour apricot, dust and leather. Taste has summer fruits, some funk. Lots of character and complexity. Shockingly good.

Bottle at The Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium, 20-02-10 Pours light amber with a medium white head, looks and smells in great nick. There is a nice tangy fruitiness on the nose, soft woodiness, vanilla and cream in fact there is more than a nod to lemon on the aroma allied with a slight nutty mustiness. Wonderful beer, in fact much of the aforementioned also present in the mouth, nice warmth from the alcohol, lovely beer, really pleased to have finally got try this one. A9 A4 F8 P4 Ov17 4.2

Rated after the LCRBM 2009 in the Kulminator. The bottle looks great, the beer in the glass also. Copper-brown, creamy head. Starts fruity-malty, notes of lemon and apricot. Increasing sourish. Warming malty with a very well balanced finish. A great beer!
