Slightly hoppy aroma, blond color, slightly bitter attack that develops into a fruity mouthfeel, pineapple genre, hop addition well balanced between bitterness and aromatic perception.

Old-fashioned blonde bitter (by ’old-fashioned’ I mean stylistically dating from before IPA’s reached Belgian beer culture, like XX Bitter) with a stable, off-white head and misty peach blonde colour with amber hue; nutty and fruity aroma with grassy hops, taste dryly fruity, nutty maltiness and long dry, hop bitter finish. Okay and thirst-quenching but less complexely hoppy than I had expected (or hoped).

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the local famers market.

Hazy amber with yeast flocks and a white head. Malty aroma with caramel. Unpleasant sharp taste.

33cl bottle, bb 02/2014. Hazy golden, lacing, thick head. Musty, bready rye aroma with apples and spicy hops. Flavor has grapefruit, grass, light bready notes and some mild sweetness. Very dry, grapefruity finish. Wow! This was a nice surprise. Full bodied and musty, but easy to drink.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen1. Deep golden colour, moderate white head, some floaties. The aroma is not unpleasant, but still a bit "unfresh", malty and spicy. The flavour is first malty, but has a distinct hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Flaske hos Ole Anders Juni-13: mye, men litt ufrisk humlearoma. Skummet faller raskt. Smaken er også litt ufrisk, men allikevel lettdrikkelig. Mye humle til belgier å være.
