In your hands, you are holding yet another hop monster of a beer brewed in San Diego County. Yes, we know this is hardly original. But, we love hops as much as you do so let's party! This beer oozes hop oils, aromas and flavors. We hope it's a worthy addition to the riche that is the Port Brewing family of beers. We look forward to this annual release each May and hope you will too.

Hazy orange, frothy offwhite head. Fruity aroma, rubbery and malty notes. Flavour has complex hoppiness, caramel, jammy sweetness and alcohol. Creamy, solid mouthfeel. Lasting bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle @ Vinterslaget på Østersøen, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and hops, with some estery touches. Sweetish taste of malt, caramel, and fruit complemented by bitter, hoppy notes and maturation flavours. Slightly smoky and quite bitter aftertaste. Good. Very good. One of the best beers withing the style I have had.

Bottle, 10.0%. Yeasty and slightly spicy aroma, hint of vanilla. Cloudy, almost muddy orange colour. OK off-white head, very creamy. The flavour is nicely hoppy, quite bitter, but not overly so. Has a little vanilla and tobacco. Quite mellow carbonation and a good, solid mouthfeel. Good hop and alcohol burn.

Thx! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ “Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT”. Hazy orange, little white head. Sweetish orange nose, light pine, orange peel. Taste is bitter orange peel, herbal, very bitter, too much for me, floral, touch malt, warming. Too much bitter orange peel for my taste.

Bottle at home, birthday present from sister & parents. Pours hazy orange-amber. Aroma of malt and pine, coffee, caramel, honey; subsequently some cat piss. Taste sweet, with pine needles, roasted nuts, grass; long lasting hop bitterness and sweetness. Re-rated 2017-10-02: Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger.

cloudy golden colour, moderate sized yellowish off-white head; very complex aroma of tangerine, tropical fruits, pine resin, biscuit notes and hints of citruses; taste is the very same with herbal notes, some honey and spicy aftertaste - cool IIPA

22 oz bottle shared. Pours golden with a soft piney aroma. Hops front and back on this one. Really hoppy and pretty bitter all around. Mild fruit flavor too. Strong beer all around, and pretty good. Good stuff.

Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - fuzzy orange coloured pour with good white head and lacing. Big hoppy fruity aroma and taste, punchy citrus flavours, lots of pine, warming caramel malty, masks the booze well. Solid bitter finish. Gorgeous.

22 ounce bottle (bottled 4/8/2014) poured into a tulip. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with 3 fingers of off-white head. Head fades slowly and leaves nice lacing behind. Fantastic lacing throughout drinking it. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes, piney hops. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, pine/resin, light booze, floral notes, piney hops, a bit of honey. Medium body with a dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Another really nice double IPA from Port Brewing.
