It’s so great that you like coffee. I just love that about you. Speaking of which, you’re holding an oatmeal coffee stout positively redolent with coffee aroma and flavor. It kind of tastes like a chocolate-covered espresso bean, only drier and more like beer. Nifty fact: we’re one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be extremely persnickety about which beans we buy and how we roast them. Taste the persnicketiness!

(Thanks, Shawn "MacBoost") Can. A- Brownie batter, fudge, chocolate, subtle coffee. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Chocolate, creamy, dry, slightly sweet, roasty. P- Full body, thin texture, average carbonation, O- What a tasty beer this was. Maybe hyped it up a bit more than I should have though. The coffee was actually pretty muted but the loads of chocolate made up for that. Felt like it was injected with nitro. Almost liked it as much as I expected to. Bold it up a bit and it’d be killer.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, malty, coffee, chocolate, some sweetness. A little thin but a decent stout.

Pours black, rather small white head. Smell is very roasted, a bit sweet. Taste is Roasty, sweet, dark chocolate. Very nice body, given the ABV, i’d even say crazy good . Low carbo, as it should be. Bit sweet, but mostly very roasty. Amazing amount of taste, in this low ABV stout. I take a bow !

Very dark brown with light brown head. Coffee and slight roast in aroma and flavor. Flavor also has a restrained caramel aspect. Slightly slick mouthfeel. Moderate roast finish.

Can drank in Pracets, Bulgaria - picked up at BottleDog London. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Ashy roasted malt aroma with hints of milk chocolate and dried berries. Light-medium sweet with bitter coffee grounds, baking cocoa, earth, burnt leaves, leather. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, with a faint burnt plastic note, some scorched earth, day-old coffee, more bittersweet baking cocoa. Not bad overall, but it just seems a little thin, and has minimal depth.
