Bottle. Hazy yellow/light brown with a large white head. Funk, wood, lemon, green apples, grass. Very refeshing and drinkable. Nice tartness on this one.

Bottle shared by Shane, thanks! Poured a very hazy pale gold with a large white head that dissipated quickly completely. Aroma was nice with a very funky note (barnyard, earthy and damp) with a bit of a sour note. Flavor was thinner with a funk note and some sour fruits but was wish it was more like the flavor.

Bottle purchased at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Begium, Feb 10 consumed 25-03-10 Pours hazy orange gold with wonderful white head. The aroma is tart and sour with some soft lemonyness and a bit of cereal. Taste is soft with cooked lemons, medium sourness, good soft but rustic flavours, nice carbonation and if a Gueuze could be classed as smooth then was it, lovely. A8 A4 F9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Hazy, straw coloured and bubbly with a happy lambic head. Fruity, earthy and balanced aroma with light pedio. Lemony, pithy gueuze but very clean. Dry, woody finish. Not my type of lambic but I could see this having an appeal to some.

Cloudy orange with a small white head. Funky hay aroma with leather and barnyard. Tart, but balanced flavour, lactic and citrus.

750 ml bottle. Very spritzy and lively. Aroma of dust and must with lemons. Great sourness and dry finish. Good example of a gueuze.

A lightly hazed golden gueuze with a thick creamy white head. A splendid aroma of ground cherries, sodium bicarbonate, and light leather and salts. In mouth, a good light sweetness with lactic notes, almost dairy, covering the tongue. Quite surprising. Medium bodied. Bottle at Kaffee de Hopduvel, Gent, Nov. 2006. BB 13-04-2026

2003 bottle, pours with a large head that eventually subsides to a centimeter large surface covering foam. The body is yellowish golden. Aroma is lemon-y barnyard horse blanket. Taste is very tame for a lambic; light sour with lots of horse blanket. It finishes with a carpet-fuzzy dryness. Fine stuff but really doesn’t try to take any leaps, just plays it real simple. Too much simple Boon stuff in here.
