Keg at Mother Kelly’s, 05/04/15. Opaque orange golden with a decent off white covering that retains well - a solid looker. Nose is tarte citric rind, peach, dank wood, bretted strokes, musty, orchard apple, funk jacket. Taste drops away from the promising nose, citric rind, damp hay, tangy orange, lemon rinse, wood must, tarte citric lead vibes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bretty wash. Ok sour, not overly complex but gets the job across.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy yellow-gold with almost head. Lots of lemon in the aroma, some pale bread, some salty sweat. Light to medium sweet flavor, more sweat, pale bread, mild lemony tartness. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Tangy lemon finish, more salty sweat. Melon, good tangerine. Pale bread. Tasty and very drinkable.

Draft sample @ ACBF 2015.
