Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium brown head, good lacing. Aroma is tequila roast, molasses, tobacco. Flavor is light plus sweet, hint of tartness, roasty tobacco, molasses, cigarette butts, tequila. Medium body. Not bad, but not really impressive either.

Bottle courtesy of milsem. Pours viscous black with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting, Smell is malty and vegetal with roasted malts, burnt caramel, moist wood, agave, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, aloe vera, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, very tiny sour, malty and vegetal. Mouthfeel is soft, round, viscous, tiny astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with ashy malts and tequila. The tequila works quite well in the nose but gets way too peppery boozy in the mouth. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pallet #3 on 28 May 2016 at 23:22 - Score: 5. Much thanks to Kraddel! 650 ml. bottle sampled. Black with little mocha head. Nose is oddly vegetable, mocha, sugar, syrupy, vanilla, it is all covered by this odd vegetable profile. Taste is thick chocolate syrup oddly mixed with some herbal vegetable qualities, umami qualities, sugar, herbal cacao, sugar, sweet candy,… Syrupy & sugar body. Herbal & vegetable qualities really take this one down, the barrel really doesn’t work here. A disappointment for Cycle in my opinion.

Bottle shared thanks to Kraddel. Near black with a ring beige head. Aroma of booze, tequila, dark chocolate, caramel, veggie notes, spice and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours black. Not much head. Smell is green, Sharp, boozy. Taste is Sharp, very green, vegetable, Sharp, a certain bitterness. It’s ok, and brew-techniczlly, it is pretty good. I just don’t really like the barrel

22oz bottle pours a murky black with some brown head. Nose has smoke, a little rubbery, some toast, lime, smoke, mild wood. Flavor has chocolate and lime, smoke, a bit of plastic, some burnt sugar. Full bodied but dry.
