Bottle on the train home, the mighty 12, 24/07/18. Pale golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is pale malts, grains, grassy, light lemon drizzle, breads. Taste comprises pale malts, grassy, cereals, clean and refreshing, light sugars, faint citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp close. Decent enough refreshing pils.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the big Canary Wharf M&S. Pours crystal clear, pale yellow with a fluffy, white head. The nose holds basic cereal and biscuits, with touches of hay as well. Light sweet flavour with a dry white bread character, along with more biscuits and cereal, light bitter hay, hints of paper and metal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Reasonably clean on the finish, with further biscuits, straw, faint lemon meringue. Overall, it’s a very drinkable and very basic European lager.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Blonde but not much of a head, and a carbonation. Has a fairly crisp and clean feel to it. Decent for its style but not overly exciting.
