Bierboom Stevigen Tripel: 33cl bottle poured by the brewer Rudy at his beershop and tasting room (De Bierboom, Brugge) on 5th Feb 2015. Rudy said his wife and daughter got involved with this, his second beer. Amber pour with an off-white lasting head. Sweet lead in the aroma and taste, Fruity and yeasty, bread like in the flavour with a spicy hint or too, I really liked it.

Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ BBF 2014. Hazy to murky amber orange, little head. Nose is sweet banana, esters, bread,…. Okay, nothing exciting. Taste is lesser to my liking, umami, rotting fruits, soap, sweet hay, lemonade, malty, hay,… Malty & soapy body. Not really to my liking. I strongly suspect most if not all of the rating prior to mine to be from friends from the guy who commissioned this beer.

Little hazy deep orange beer, creamy off-white to yellow head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, some overripe banana, bit malty, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, bit sugary, some orange peel, spicy. Aftertaste: sweet, sugary, orange peel, bit of caramel, more sugar.
Also boo at the fake rating of nathan121!

Bottle at Bierboom, Bruges Saturday 18th October 2014. Pours a puddly light amber colour with white small bubbly rim. A little yeast and spice on nose. This is very decent, spice and yeast show but warmth from alcohol also shows, nice carbonation, overipe fruitiness. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
