Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Black with beige head. Lovely intense black malts. Good intensity, good tar. Good espresso stout. Even managed to overcome my anti Three Floyds bias.

Black with a brown head. Toffee and chocolate aromas, with a blackberry note and some alcohol, not all that complex. Sweet chocolate and roasted flavour with a long lasting roast aftertaste. I was not as impressed as others around the table.

Sampled at the O-Town throwdown. Pours black with light brown head. The aroma has a mild burnt maltiness with some sweeter malts and maybe some oatmeal or rye. The flavor is just like the aroma with burnt malts, lightly caramelized malts, some vanilla and maybe oatmeal.

Bottle. Hickory smoke and dark chocolate aroma. Dark black color with small head. Smokey malt and hops flavor - notes of chocolate, burnt coffee and chalk as well. Body was a bit watery.

Bottle pours a deep black with a thin tan tan head and traces of thin lacing. Lots of dark roasted bitter hoppy aroma. Tastes sharp, bitter and smokey. Dry, yess. Thin and strong. Surprosed to find the ABV to be only 5.5%. Dry and quick on the palate with a long lasting bitter bite. Nice for a sub-style that is not favorite. Thanks again to OhioDad

22 oz Bottle Pours out a Black topped with a tan head. A Great aroma of HOPS. Great floral and some bitter. Very nice. Thanks Indiana_Red

Poured a watery black from the bomber with a thin white head. Little aroma, no hops, slightly roasted. Initial flavor was nice, malty and roasted with coffee notes but extremely weak. The flavor was too simple and faded quickly. Reminder me more of a porter than a stout. Unimpressive as far as micro-stouts go.

Bottle from cbkschubert! Thanks Craig! Nose of coffee, chocolate, and a small bit of hops; very opaque brown with cherry fringes and some tan bubbles against the glass sides; flavor shows first some hop bitterness, then coffee and chocolate, more hops than most stouts!

(Bottled, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 Aug) Colour is black with dark brown edges, foamy beige head leaving a ring around the glass. Nose is roasted with coffee, dark chocolate and floral notes of hops shining through the dark. Taste is roasted with dark, bitter chocolate, notes of juniper berries and dark cherries. Fresh citrussy hop taste in a long, rather dry, finish. Light to medium body makes this a very drinkable stout despite loads of taste. Lovely!

[Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] Black with beige, creamy head. Strong aroma of cofee and grapefruit. Dry, very aromatic and really roasty. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel and tons of coffee flavour. Long salty grapefruity bitter finish. Packed with flavour, yet so drinkable. A superb stout!
