(Can) Deep amber colour with big, frothy, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with apricot marmalade, orange peel, mango, caramel, flowers and honey. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of apricot marmalade, mango, honey, caramel, orange peel, dried pineapple, herbs and a generous citric/herbal bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. A bit sharp and caramelly. Tasty, but not really in perfect balance. Quite enjoyable.

Can from Systembolaget. A bit hazy darkorange/amber with a huge head. Sweetish with herbs, caramel, grass and some tangerine. Drinkable but felt a bit tired.

[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; aroma of burnt grains and orange; malty body with some orange juice and burnt sugar; and a deep unpleasant pithy bitterness. I don't get this at all.

In der Nase Mango. Im Trunk schnell bitter, dabei ziemlich wässrig. Unterdurchschnittlich.

Deep amber and super copper coloured body with a thin, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of soap, grass, light citrus and a dash of curacao - nice and pungent with some definite malts to back it all up. Medium-bodied; Assertive soapy and grassy hop notes at first with a bunch of full oranges, light citrus and more curacao to couple with a well-balanced maltiness that shows more nuts and biscuits than anything else. Aftertaste is balanced, slightly sweet from the caster sugar, fruit-based sugars and even a touch of toffee, but also bittered from the lighter hops and a bit nuanced from the yeast and the mellow malts. Overall, a decently structured but slightly less hoppy and bitter than I expected beer, with some nice complexities from the hop varietal and some more mellow takes - sugars, grain, bitterness than I expected as well. Nice to sample and worth trying if you can find it, but not worth searching after. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00 sampled at home in Washington on 08-April-2018.

Can. Murky amber colour. Large beige head. Aroma: sweet nectar, honey, grapefruit. Old. Medium body. Bittersweet taste. Robust malts. Heavy puckering bitterness that reminded me of an extremely strong green tea. Not its best conditions. Wish it were fresh.
