BKL2017. Light dusty milk chocolate aroma. Dark brown liquid and head. Spicy, dusty entry, chocolate, old Xmas cookies. Creamy, mellow.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, cocoa. Nice. Taste is sweet chocolate woth dark and slightly bitter cocoa. Incredibly sweet with smooth drinkabilty. Some alcohol in the finish. Apart from that amazing.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is vanilla, some peat smoke, chocolate, wood. Taste is again peat smoke, chocolate, wood sugar, vanilla. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice!

Black body, with a medium, dense, dark beige head.
Aroma of heavy wood, moderate smoke, chocolate, molasses, some caramel.
Tastes quite similar, with more booze.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes boozy, medium sweet, wooden, a bit roasty, a bit dry.
Very nice. Pretty dominant wood notes, that are quite nice, adding some unique character. Not very complex though in my opinion, maybe a bit less barrel notes would have made for more diversity. Overall still a really enjoyable sipper.

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, Day 2. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of oak, boozy barrels, cocoa, honey, chocolate and toffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation. [20-08-2016]

[ As Riegele BierManufaktur Magnus15 ].Clear dark black brown color with a small, virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, oak, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, oak, wood, cacao - vanilla, medium roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160820]

Bottle, 13%. Black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and wood. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, wood, oak, sweet, warming, notes of alcohol, little vanilla, tobacco and a little bitter.

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Black, small offwhite ring. Aroma has chocolate, nuts, coffee and notes of vanilla. Coffee and vanilla extract flavour. Comes across as too artificial for my liking.
