Brewed in appreciation of The Publick House, a craft beer mecca in Brookline, MA where close friends and warm hospitality welcome us time after time. This amplified version of The Publick House IPA focuses on the exhibition of the Citra, Columbus and Centennial hops, with an aroma bursting with fresh orange juice and under-ripe peach along with notes of toasted malt. The flavor profile is more bitter than our “Street” IPAs, but with a toasted, bready malt character to balance. Bitter grapefruit flavors emerge with mild pine on the finish.

ABV: 7.3%

MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, C-60, Dextrine, Dextrose

HOPS: Citra, Centennial, Columbus

Can via the brewery. It pours crazy cloudy pineapple juice with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is ripe, juicy, tangy tropical fruits, pineapple, peach, orange squash, um bungo, mango, quite zingy and bright, lemon curd, grapefruit and some green weedy notes. The taste is dry and bitter upfront, green, weedy, dank, pine needles, spicy, pithy, zesty, loads of citrus, tangerine, satsuma, pomelo, grapefruit, pineapple and some minerality with a lingering dry, green finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice citrus vibes to it. Moreish.

Chalumeaux shares a 16 oz can, spilt 3 ways. Hazy appearance, lasting foamy head retention. Aroma of grapefruit pith, orange rind, maybe pine. The flavor is a perfect rendition of the base Public House. I do get a hint of spruce in the bitterness. The bitterness is pretty substantial. Softer mouthfeel feel, as is the standard for this brewery. Still overall, pretty damn tasty and well made without a question.
