Can 1 pint. Pours an almost clear golden with a small, white head. Interesting spicy aroma, I believe I can even detect some juniper, discreet acid. Medium body, dry and tart - you can feel the tannins on your teeth - woody. But also with this late flaw of sulphur, baking yeast, nuts/almonds that is so typical in many sour beers (Berliners in particular). The flaw seems to vanish though, the more you drink. A both interesting and challenging Sour. 070617

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light fruit ester, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light corky notes, light Brett, ground cherries, light gin, light citrus, nice and complex. Can from VT.

Can which is hard to read, as silver writing on grey. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white cap and some decent lacing. Big sour nose with some smooth vinegar notes and cherries. Hints of gin barrel show in the background. These do not show in the taste though. Quick sour start going into a grainy malt and finishing on big tarty yeast. This end is not appealing to me. Not sure if older and lacking taste all the way, but wish the gin notes would show up all-along.

Can. Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT. 6.5%. Hazy gold. Film of white head. A little leggy. Nose has gin botanicals. Soft yeast fruitiness. Sweet malts. Pale honey. Nice oak and Riesling grape character. Taste is tangy and crisp, woody dry. Clean as a whistle mouthfeel. Bright and light. Woody, botanical gin vibe on the finish.

Paid $9.25 for a 16 oz. can purchased at CBC Waterbury, VT. What up, pricy? Damn... The gin is subtle, weak honey, mild Belgian yeast.
Flavor is pretty nice, light spice, fruity yeast for the backbone. Honey complements the subtle gin influence in the finish. The flower notes of the gin are very mild. In fact had I not known this was aged in Gin, I don’t think I could have picked it out. Good brew for sure even if on the pricy side.

From my dear brother: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is light gin, apricot, flowers, yeast, and funk. Really nice. Taste is yeasty and bready at the bottom. Really nice flavor. Great complexity.

Can shared by Nelson on 8/25/16.
Off-white head is small-to-medium and shows moderate retention. Deep, golden-brass body shows good clarity.
Gin in the nose is melded nicely in to both ester and malt, with plentiful fruitiness (apples, strawberries, cranberries, gooseberries) offsetting the "sweet" honey notes from the malt. Light earthiness and some moderate lactic qualities are nicely reserved; there’s no punchy acetic character nor any heavy gin botanicals. Nor is there alcohol or flaw.
Lovely body and texture on it, being nearly perfectly attenuated and yet retaining a good malt backbone and engaging carbonation. This really works wonders for the "style" and smooths out the sourness, spreading it across the palate evenly from start to finish, as well as the light oak and gin spiciness. Actual saison characteristics are present as well, not just a big sour acidity. Very well-executed beer.

Can shared during the Sander Stag. Pours clear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Funky about, some melon, peach, tangerine, lemon. Lightly tart, moderately sweet, with notes of lime, tangy lemon, light pale wood, some gin notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fresh finish, fairly clean, with more lemony tartness, mild funk, juicy lime, tangerine. Great stuff.
