Flaske fra Holmens importkoffert, delt med Ovesen på omstikkingskveld juni-15: lett uklar gylden med flott skum. Nyydelig aroma, tropiske frukter, ferske granskudd og you name it. Smaken er i samme liga, og denne nytelsen er pakket inn i sølle 4,8%. Ingen skarpe kanter, bare ren nytelse. Intet mindre enn imponerende. Et fyrtårn å navigere etter. Humlene er Perle, Centennial, Citra og Mosaic. Malt: Best Ale, Clear Choice, Wheat malt, Caramalt og Light Munich. Gjær: US05.

Bottle from BeerMerchants; clear amber pour with a frothy off white head, aroma has light pine and tangerine, taste has citrus, plus some biscuity malts, ok but was expecting after my first beer from these.

On tap (tried but didn’t rate at time) and also bottle from Cloudwater Brewery and tap Units 7-8 Picadilly Trading Estate, Manchester, Saturday 18th April 2015 bottle consumed at home Thursday 30th April 2015 Jolly good session IPA or hoppy golden, call it what you will. Furiously hoppy, strength is quite misleading, in fact the body suggests that this is an altogether bigger and stronger beer. Dry finish, pithy citrus rasps across the tongue. Lovely citrus, lemony and grapefruit combine the latter more dominant, really like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Gold. Light haze. Messy film of white. Light aroma of tropical fruit. Biscuity malts. Hint of spice. Taste is moderate bitter, with a citric tang. Crisp, clean palate, with more of the tang. Long, moderately bitter finish. A bit of soap on the close. Ok, but I’ll admit I was expecting more.

Keg at BrewDog Shepherd’s Bush - London. Pours clear gold with a whtie cream heat. The nose holds lightly toasted bread, orange, mild rind. Light sweet flavor with moderately dry and lightly toasted pale malts, general breadiness, light piney hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light bitter pine int he finish, more bread. Simple.
