Cidre Bouché is created using the traditional method of the Pays d'Auge. Full of fruit and freshness, the taste reveals the aromas of apples and citrus with finesse ("cidre bouché" is a generic term for traditional cider, literally "cider under cork").

Bottle at man in the moon. Pours clear blonde. Foam is unstable, as of course, this is a cider. Smell is full, funky natural apples. Very funky. Taste is full, very highly carbonated. Dry finish, after a full blast of natural apples. Indeed pretty good, but to my own liking a tad to slick ( almost like a diacetyl mouthfeel) and too high Carbo.

Clear golden colour. Aroma of apple, apple skins, quite fruity. Light sweet apple flavour, fallen fruits, skins. Quite dry. Finish skins, apple. Very decent.

375ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Decided to get something decent for my 20th French tick. 2014 vintage. Pours ever so slightly hazy gold with a tall white head that fades rather quickly. Aroma is dried apples, barnyard. Taste is sweet apples followed by sour apples, dry finish.

750ml bottle, as Dupont Cidre Bouche 2015, 5.5%. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and horseblanket funk aroma. Taste is funky, apple, mellow fruity, bittersweet, some caramel and tangy notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry fruity apple finish. Very drinkable.

Shared from tap at Takanoya. Clear gold with a sweet apple aroma. The taste is sweet easy drinking apple and yet gives you a tiny piquante spicy bite. Incredibly easy drinking sweet tasting but it remains pretty dry.

Small screwcap bottle shared. Clear golden with short lasting fizzy head. Horse sweat, medium sweet apples, mango, hay, light moss, apple juice, it has some dry and funny notes but not like dried apple skin. The funk and juice seem somehow separate here. Some light pear and lemon as well. Medium sweet and a hint of bitter funk. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Great.

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with little bubbles for head. Sweet and dry old apples, mossy mold and treebark, almond nutty tannins. Moderate sweet and bitter. Under medium body, dry and soft fizzy carbonation. Nice cider with a nice touch of barnyard and goat droppings.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear golden. Aroma is floral cider, blossoms. Body is light, softly fruity and rather sweet, a bit sticky indeed. Not the most balanced cider ever, also not with the best flavours.

2014 vintage bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish golden straw with 2 fingers of fine foam that lingers then dissipates. Aromas of hay, horseblanket, Brie rind, prosciutto, faint smoke, dried apple, umami, cobwebs. Fantastically complex. A symphony of aromas as it warms. Champagne-like carbonation on the palate. Dry and funky with a nice lingering farmy, dried apple character thoughout. Musty.
