Bottle. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of breadcrust and marmalade-like grapefruit. A bit of body, highish carbonation. Dryish with breadcrust , firm citrus bitterness. Very clean with quite a punchy finish. Not bad at all. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 01 Jan 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. 500 ml bottle into pint. From ALDI, Riverwood. Golden amber beer with a large crown of foam and high fine carbonation. Some lacing. Nose is earthy and manky with hints of citrus and malt. Taste is sharply bitter, finish is lingering aspirin bitterness. Classic IPA, really good.

Bottle from Tesco, Borehamwood. Amber with a head. Has caramels in both aroma and taste and is quite heavy textured for them.

Bottle from Tesco and drunk at home listening to some football. Clear gold orange almost Lucazade colour with a lasting off white head. Looks heavily carbonated. Black Sheep house yeast aroma. Some toffee and some leafy UK hops. It’s a British hoppy pale ale. Yes quite tasty in the Goldings and Progress hops. Some dryness. Malts are ok and happy to carry the hops along. Decent mix of yeast malt and hops. Enjoyable if you like strong English pale ales. Quite bitter on the finish.

500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home early hours of 12th Dec 2016. Clean and clear amber bodied, wispy white head. Aroma is of Piney Hops and Pale Malts, as is the taste; crisp and sharp in the mouthfeel. Fairly bitter and dry, especially in the finish.

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley. A bright amber pour with a loose cream head and light carbonation; fresh green hop aroma; quite lively in the mouth with a sweet bready taste and a rounded fruity bitterness; then a lingering mingling of green hops and caramel to finish. Fresh and lively.

Ok despite it being less IPA and more trad Yorkshire bitter.
