Good roast, subtle cocoa, and coffee notes. Mouth feel is thinner than i expected, carb is quite low. Finish is lowon the bitterness, with more solid roast. Hops are there, but quite earthy, and there is a metallic flavor in the end that i cant shake. Good, not great.

Can. Pours murky dark brown with very small frothy beige head, sweet maple syrup aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter caramel maple syrup taste, thin body, long finish. Good brew.

Bottle, I believe undated, drunk 9/22/17.
Light tan head recedes fairly steadily to cover, atop a dark mahogany, clear body.
Chocolate, crusty brown bread, light coffee-like roast suggestions and a hint of caramel provide a very straightforward porter-like nose highlighting the roasted barley. Base malts seem sparse, well-attenuated and there's no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's fairly soft, despite being very dry and having not all that much base malt character. Just a touch of caramel and mostly chocolate and bread with coffee coming on the finish. Watery, thin texture with low, somewhat loose carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. A bit tired and lifeless. Seems like a very good interpretation of a bottled, filtered English porter!

Tasted from the tap on the 05/03/2016 at Barcelona Beer Festival. Black opaque colour with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and cereals. Taste is dry with predominance of the roasted malts and the hops. Next one please!

Very dark reddish brown pour with a small dark brown head that fades quickly.Nose of roasted malt, brown sugar, cocoa and coffee. Medium sweet toffee followed by a medium light bitter dark chocolate and a quite dry finish though there are some metallic notes. Mouth is medium creamy with soft carbonation.

Big Ben on tap at the brewpub. It has a nice cocoa and light molasses aroma. Malty dark goodness, sweet. A solid London Porter.

Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights. The head is creamy, beige, has good retention and leaves lots of dirty-sticky lacing. Aromas of roasted malts with notes of coffee and chocolate. The mouthfeel is wet with a little creaminess to it. The taste is mild as well, so goes down nicely and not too heavy. Mostly roasted malts with the burnt aspect lingering a bit in the aftertaste. Hints of dark fruits and coffee. Not sure about the porter style, other than being light in the mouth. Seems more like a watered-down stout.

Bouteille 50cl, bottled on 02/2013.

Light bitter coffee and nut. Pours syrupy-looking reddish black, though texture is more on the thick than syrupy side. No head or lacing. Some roast malt. Light bitter finish. Average carbonation. Palate isn’t very complex.
