330ml bottle shared between three as we drank the 7 Rainbow Project 2015 beers on 9th Nov that year. Poured a clear blonde/golden colour with a weak white head. Aroma was semi-floral and semi-citrus fruits giving it a sour lemon like nose. The taste had a sour and bitter feel with a drying finish: not my thing at all.

Bottle at home. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is quite creamy, custard, orange, floral notes, touch of wood, rhubarb and definite gorse. The taste is rather tart, sour orange, kumquat, sherbet, grape skin, some acidity, florals and lactic bite with a dry, slightly acidic finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice aroma and rather interesting overall, but the balance just ain’t there. Alright.

[9/24/15] Bottle sample at the pre-Borefts tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Clear golden. Weird sourish aroma with yogurt and weird spiciness. Sourish flavor with yogurt, cucumber, weird spiciness.

Bottle picked up from Beer Gonzo who kindly kept hold of my Rainbow Project box whilst we on holiday, thank you Beers Gonzo!. Consumed at home Tuesday day 13th October 2015. Hazy, mhhh.. actually I lie it’s quite clear peachy orange. Fruity and tangy but the Amarillo hops shine and contribute nicely. Furry across the roof of the mouth, some sharp berry (gooseberry) very dry lengthy finish. I have to say I was a little bit disappointed to see such a heavy preference for sours amongst this year’s Rainbow Project beers as I tire of them a little, however this was very good. Bottle from Rainbow launch 2015. Clear gold lasting white head. Sour aroma some herb some Lacto. Yes some orange fruit. It has that milky Lacto thing. Not keen on the aroma. I quite like the orange but not that bothered by the other flavours in the mouth. Hoppy bitter orange is very good. Mix of things I like and bits I don?t.
