33 cl. bottle as Slaapmutske Hop Collection Featuring Kent Goldings @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Hazy dark golden with a white head. Malty aroma with dried fruits and some candy sugar. Taste is sweet but with a considerable bitterness. Full bodied but easily drinkable. Dangerously tasty Belgian strong ale.

Bottle as Slaapmutske East Kent Goldings at Café Den Extra, Lier, Friday 20th March 2015 Hazy golden colour with a sticky white head. Spicy nose and a little herby also with fruit and a little almond. Spicy in mouth, coriander maybe but herb again, soft carbonation, it’s quite good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle, 10%. Farty, creamy and nicely malty aroma, almost has vanilla to it. Almost clear amber colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour has vanilla, good vinous note, a bit of alcohol, almonds, marzipan. Quite complex. Flavourful, but not too much. If one should find something negative about it, it would be that there could be more flavour in a beer this strong.

Clear amber, creamy offwhite head. Lovely, complex aroma. Hops, honey, caramel, slightly piney with alcohol whiffs. Flavour has the same complexity along with warming alcohol. Fluffy mouthfeel. Really nice.

Bottle, as Slaapmutske East Kent Goldings, @ The Unholy Trinity Meets Again, Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, caramel malt and hops, with notes of cake. Booze in the long nose. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit, with notes of hops and gingerbread and vanilla. Sweetish and slightly citric aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Well-balanced. Decent.

Anniversary beer for the Swedish Pressklubben pub made by Slaapmutske; also tasted as Slaapmutske Hop Collection Kent Goldings. Rocky, stable, snow white, lacing head and warm golden blonde colour, hazy. Aroma of melon, caramel, melting butter, cake, kiwi, lots of flowers, honey and some plastic- and cauliflower-like off-flavours; fruity flavour, green apple, gooseberry, hint of lime zest, slightly oily, slick mouthfeel, honeyish malt sweetishness, floral European noble hops in the finish (Kent Goldings), bittering but not a lot, rather aromatic with ongoing malt sweetness along with a certain amount of alcohol warmth. Subtle and decent tripel, too bad for the off-flavours, and frankly a bit boring as well.
