Aged in select rum barrels to add extra sizzle to the flavor of our multi-award-winning BORIS The Crusher oatmeal-imperial stout. The lively, spicy character of the rum barrel creates a wonderful, crisper overall taste compared to our standard Bourbon Barrel Aged BORIS stout. This is a great twist on our most popular barrel-aged beer!

Keg at Craft Holborn. It pours jet black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich, fruity, rum & raisin, cookie dough, fruit cake, dried fruits, light spice, roasted malt, vanilla and honeycomb. The taste is rich roasted malt, punchy booze, dark fruits, dried fruits, spotted dick, rummy boost, malt loaf and chewy malt with a lingering warm finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Boozy it is, but it is also rather tasty. These guys know how to do their ba imperial stouts.

On tap at Craft Covent Garden, London, Saturday 21st May 2016 in the company of Jackie and Simon Pours shark eye black no with a creamy textured head. This is a really nice Impy Stout, I am pleased to say that the Rum cask ageing has not overtaken the base beer as Rum BA beers are usually my least favourite of any BA stuff. Some wood notes on the nose along with chocolate and a hint of liquorice. In the mouth this has a lovely feel the chocolate integrates with some vanilla, it’s roasty (but smooth) a little coffee. This is lovely. Hopping Frog really know how to nail this style. A7 A4 T9 P5 Ov16 4.1

Sample at the Hoppin’ Frog Tasting Room during the "Rocky Mountain Barrel Aged BORIS The Crusher Oatmeal Imperial Stout Release!" event on 05/07/2016. Black pour with a medium foamy beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. The aroma consists of rum, roast malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky vanilla, rum and chocolate malt. The finish is sweet with a rum and vanilla aftertaste. Good beer all around.
