On tap at Stillwell Freehouse. Poura hazy light gold with an off-white head. Bright floral hops, coriander, and light caramel on the nose. Flavour has a floral and allium hop character along with the sweetness and coriander of the estery Belgian yeast. Fairly heavy, almost catching the back of the palate with the ABV. Interesting idea, a bit of an odd combo, but well executed.

Serious fresh grapefruit nose translates directly into the taste profile. The grapefruit/citrus Citra pop is accompanied by bready, sweet malt and alcohol warmth. The medium/high carbonation adds punch to the brew and the full body of this triple holds it all together. Another bulls eye for Dieu du Ciel

Huge aroma of citrus fruit, peaches, and plums! wow! the flavor is laced with hoppy goodness. lots of fruit, and a nice peppery spiciness from the hops mixed with the alcohol. Some subtle grains, and some malt just to balance things out. wow, this was a great tripel.

Single from Churchkey to go after it became impossible to grab a seat on a late Monday afternoon. Low-ball back at the hotel. Bottled 11-22-22. Jellied hazy, honey pour with a thick & sticky fluff. Orange honey nose, floral, sweet herbal, cannoli creme. Delicate & inviting. Sharp & rich first sip. Lemon sweet tea, honey-laced malt, herbal pine bitterness down the tail with a touch of softer caramel; lingering orange peel & pith. Some oxidation on the finish but it's only a minor nuisance. Cutting, strong, warming, frothy, rich. Bold & tasty in moderate doses.

Bottle from Beer Republic. It pours slightly hazy orangey - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright, apricot, peach, orange marmalade sandwiches, pear drops, melon, floury bread, bricohe and a touch herbal/spicy. The taste is firmly dry, quite crisp for the style, snappy, bitter, warming alcohol upfront, loads of orangey fruits, tangerine, kumquat, fanta, orange marmalade white bread sandwiches, apricot jam, mango, grassy, leafy, herbal vibes, nip of spice, melon, some bread and light tannin with a firmly dry finish with some warming alcohol. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful, punchy and yet, somehow still balanced.

Very hazy and deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of pepper, alcohol, strong sugars, grass and flowers with a lot of sweetness noticeable at the end and a good deal of malts, too, of course with alcohol pervasive as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt notes dominate at first with some honey, grass, flowers, chamomile tea, grain and earthiness here with a large kick of both alcohol and grain with some heavy sugars as well, but the graininess and earthy malts show through everything and bring out the alcohol warmth even more. Aftertaste shows some pungent grain and flowers with the honey and grass here as well along with some light nutty components and a rich, cereal-like finish with the grain very strong, even at the end. Overall, a very strong beer with a lot of honey, grass, flowers and especially earthy malts that make you focus your palate more on the grain and earthiness than more of an easier-drinking profile with some honey and sweetness - this is much deeper and less clean. I sampled this 33 cL bottle, purchased from Lueken's Liqours in Dunedin, Florida on 14-April-2019 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-June-2022.

(Bottle) Deep golden colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with dried fruit, coriander, mandarin, pepper, flowers, marzipan, candy sugar and a touch of alcohol. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of dried tropical fruit, papaya, flowers, coriander, candy sugar, citrus, marzipan and a balanced spicy bitterness in a finish with a touch of alcohol coming through. Full body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made new world version of a Belgian tripel. Very nice.

From a 341ml bottle on 15/6/2020. My first Dieu du Ciel in a long time. Pours a clearish medium golden with a medium head. The nose features lots of Belgian yeast with a mild fruitiness. This is one intense experience flavour wise. There's a big citrus and stone fruit sweetness up front, against a bready malt background. There's a big, quite sharp, lingering herbal bitterness at the back, with a fairly boozy finish. The mouthfeel is syrupy and the carbonation soft. A huge, intense and quite enjoyable sipper.
