This batch of Bright was created to be a clean and elegant showcase for a notoriously delicious hop - Citra! It is crafted with a simple malt bill and fermented with clean American Ale yeast to create fresh ingredients than an expression of yeast character. The taste follows suit with notes of orange juice, grapefruit, and tangerine with a gentle finish. She is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable and thirst quenching!

500mL can, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tropical fruity hops, some dankness, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour bursts with dank hops, tropical pithy fruits, and biscuity malt. Dry and dank, with nice pithy fruitiness. Excellent NE IIPA.

Cloudy, tan. Not much head. This has nice orangey notes, and a decent touch of grapefruit. Bright, sweet, citrusy, and with a touch of floral, honeyish character. Nice balance...sweet...bright melon and citrus hops.

16oz can pours a muddy orange gold with some sticky, white head. Nose has plenty of orange zest and grass, some grapefruit and lemon too, a little grist, maybe even some light yeast esters. Flavor is grass, orange, grapefruit, some soggy cracker. Finishes bitter and dry.

Can from the brewery. Packaged 6 days ago. Huge Citra nose. Fresh squeezed grapefruit mostly, some lemon and orange and a bit of papaya. Cloudy pastel yellow with a low, thick head. Flavor is orange and grapefruit, or maybe Japanese natsumikan is closer, some topical accompaniments, a bit tart, some bitter zest / rind, and creamy wheat character. Quite bitter for Tree House. Definitely bright and zesty, but not as appealing as the other two we tried today. Note: this was better with a little age. The fruit characters ripened and got a bit funkier and more characterful. 3.9 --> 4.1

Can shared by tderoeck. One of several variations on the New England IPA theme, which Tree House - located in its area of origin - has been specializing in with great results. Lacing, off-white, moussy, stable head over a hazy ’egg-yolk’ yellow beer with warm peachy tinge. Bright, luscious and ’tropical’ aroma of overripe mango flesh, stale lime juice, passion fruit lemonade, tangerine, pink grapefruit, guava, tropical orchids, fresh Thai basil, cream. Fresh, soft but very lively fruitiness in the mouth, pineapple, lime juice, touch of granadilla, soft carbo, smooth and bit creamy mouthfeel, lovely fluffy bready malt core with a light biscuity aspect. Utterly aromatic hoppiness fills the mouth cavity, adding a point of spicy bitterishness but, more than anything, releasing lush retronasal aromas of pink grapefruit, pomelo, starfruit and a touch of toasted onions. Ends very, very juicy. This is as classic as it gets for this hugely trendy IPA substyle, juicy, cloudy and filled to the brim with generous tropical hoppiness that brings aromatic qualities much more than any bitterness. Not the single best Tree House I had so far, but still a fantastic beer - it shows that this brewery is at the forefront of this NEIPA craze and makes no compromises on quality, if only some or other Belgian genius brewer would be fully able to produce this kind of thing in my country...

Thank you tderoeck! 473 ml. can split by 4 @ “Belgian Ticks Tasting Ghent”. Hazy orange with creamy white head. Nose is nice hazy citrus, tangerine, mandarin NEIPA? Hop haze, low bitterness,… Taste is mellow yeasty, hazy NEIPA with mango, tangerine, mandarin, low bitter,… Body is haze, hop haze & yeast,…. Good solid NEIPA as it should be, good to have a proper one now that everyone is releasing one and so many do not quite hit the markt.

21/VII/17 - 1Pt. can from a trade, shared @ Belgian Ticks Tasting (home) - BB: n/a, canned: V/12/17 (2017-1083) Thanks to Ryan for the trade!

Slightly hazy to almost clear blond beer (had the first pour from the can, later pours became more hazy), bit creamy off-white head, little stable. Aroma: oh yes, that's the deal, very fruity, lots of grapefruit, peaches, pineapple, mandarins, some passion fruits, very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lovely stuff, a shit load of tropical fruits, mango, some grapefruit, citrus peel. Aftertaste: fruity, little sweet, some pineapple, lots of citrus, grapefruit, bit resinous, mango, pineapple juice, lovely stuff!
