One of those beers that I’ve overlooked on the bar, dozens of times, searching for something "better". Shame, really, as this is a very decent session beer, with a subtle, fresh malt and hop character that I won’t overlook in future.

cask@Pelt Trader, London - amber/copper pour comes with thin dissipating white head and lacing. Prominent malts, toffee, caramel, has some slight subtle spicy hops in there. Decent bitter.

Cask at GBD in Washington. Poured a nice golden brown color, huge fluffy, foamy white head. Aroma was light malts, some pepper-like earthy hop notes. Flavor is earthy hops, light, thin malts. Highly drinkable and a lot more flavorful than I would have expected. A nice bitter, but don’t expect it to shatter your world.

Lighter brown with a very thin head. Has a light malty taste throughout and a fine session ale. Medium to high bitterness with some sweetness in the nose.

Cask @ The Three Chimneys, Biddenden - Ashford. Labeled Adnams Best Bitter. Amber body with a moderato sized off-white head. Aroma has some caramel malt with a hint of toast and feels fruity. Flavor is mild, fruity, soft malt, mild caramel and moderate bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. OK session ale, nothing extraordinary.
