A chestnut, tawny red premium ale. Brewed with roasted malts and English Fuggle hops, to give a smoky, spicy hoppiness on the nose, leading to a molasses, nutty palate with a light fruity hop dryness.

pint at the ledger building. A copper brown coloured pour with a speckled beige head. Aroma is nutty twiggy malts, light apple. Flavour is composed of sharp and tangy, nutty malts, granny smith apple, toffee. Little bit off but not enough to send it back. Palate is tangy, sweet, moderate condition. Pretty bad.

Fra cask på Star Inn Bath 3 Mai 17. Mørk nøttefarget. Skum langs glasset. Aroma av nøtter - og smaken likeså. Blir lett tørr & bitter etter hvert. Bra!
