750ml bottle courtesy of Kermis. Muchas Gracias! Shared in KL with my new tasting group. The non-users! Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is malt, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, red-berry fruit, raisin, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Awesome. So Belgian. Eight years old and one wonders how it would be in 10 years from now?

An oldie! Slight pop, no gusher, no sour smell. Little bit dusty at first, but that's reasonable. Black, bit of brown foam. Smells umami, dusty. First taste is bitter, smoky. Opens up rather well, and the peach arrives more and more at the foreground.

11th Nov 2019; monthly beer tasting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Cheers Mat for thsi 75cl bottle, 2012 Vintage: BB 30th Sep 2018. Although out of date by over a year this still had the classic aroma, look and taste of the iconic beer it is. The Rum may well have lost some oomph, but the fruitiness and chocolate flavours remained.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 19, brought by me. Pours super dark, deep tan brown head. Aroma has light fruity peachy notes, roast. Taste is surprisingly light, balanced, nice subtle fruity nuances, chocolate shades.. has held up remarkably well over the years, great finesse on the palate, good drinkability. Excellent!

Sample from someone at Borefts. Pours black with a big brown head. Aromas of peach, candy, sugar, molasses, roast, chocolate. Taste is roasty, has a lot of chocolate, vanilla, spice, candy, dark sugar, malty, slight tartness - maybe from the peach?

Bottle. Thanks Jon. Very smooth, aroma is nutty, roast, booze. Taste is great, booze again, sweetness, can kind of get the peaches, bit of roast, rich and fruity. Can only find rum if I really think about it.

Bottle@1420 (Black Damnation tasting) Copenhagen - (As Ashley & Trey Wedding) - Black pour witb a nice tan convering. Seeet and medium roasted malty with some dark dried fruit shred, some dried currants, cocoa and some treacle sweetness, earthy ashy malty, full body, resonating port soaked wooden accents into the dark malty close. Lovely.
