ABC Roxy Benefit: Poured a hazy yellow with a bubbly head. Aroma is tart sour fruit grapes mostly, funky. Taste is tart fruit gooseberry, acidic, citrus, and woods. Tart throughout.

Bottle pours out a dirty straw color with a few bubbles on top. Nose is odd salty grapes some berries and citrus. Taste is more of the Interesting fruit and salt combo berries white grape green apple and the citrus. Not one of my favorite de garde beers.

Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours hazy golden straw, medium fizzy white head, decent lacing. Aroma is interesting, lemon and a hint of oak, along with salt, hospital gowns, Brett, light cheese. Flavor is medium tart with a touch of funk, lemony, oddly fruity, but difficult to describe. Light body, lingering lemony tartness. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy white yellow with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is pepper and citrus. Medium mouth with light smoke and pepper, nice tartness, very good.

Bottle split at Bruce’s, from a trade with MJ, 29/01/15. Hazed yellow with a decent off white covering that quickly dissipates. Nose is pissy, funk, green berry tang, greengages, spice, musty grape. Taste comprises bitter green berry, straw, tarte gooseberry, light acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light puckerings. Decent.

Tasting at Bruce’s. Thanks to Sir Theydon. Hazy pale gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Lemon sherbet and lemon acid. Mild gooseberry. A weird dusty vegetal flavour. Sharp lemony finish. Little off kilter for me.

Bottle thanks to C-Dogg. It pours cloudy pale yellow-green with a small white head. The nose is soft, cox apple, pear, mild citrus, light spice, vanilla and chai tea latte. The taste is crisp, tart, big mouth-pucker, gooseberry, limeade, Granny Smith apple, pickles, minerals, lemon sherbet and war heads with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Works for me!

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Colin. Pours pale yellow with a creamy white head. Interesting aroma, light moth balls, faint white pepper, lemon rind. Light sweet flavor with some strong lemon acidity, slight floral notes. Light bodied with lively, spritzy carbonation. Bracing sour finish, some lemony citrus, some lactic funk, acidic lemon bite. Crisp.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tart fruit and herbal yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of tart berries, herbal wheat and earthy yeast. The finish is mildly funky with a tart citrus and berry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle at weekly tasting. Pours yellow white head. Nose/taste of oak, tart berry, lactic acid, sour wheat, musty lemon and sour banana. Lighter medium body.
