330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a large beige head. Nose brings out spicy Belgian yeast, lots of dark dried fruits, toasted chestnut, and a hint of toffee. Flavour is very spicy, malty and fruity, with lots of spicy Belgian yeast, toffee, dark dried fruits, and burnt sugars. The sweetness is rather high, but the carbonation is also very high, which obscures some of the felt sweetness. Good, but not an elite dark Belgian strong.

33cl bottle. Pours reddish brown, slightly opaque, with limited cream foam. Aroma is intensely malty and caramel, dry figs, Body and carbonation are average. Taste has a nice sweetness, intense but not too invasive. Final is somehow long and sweet.

Bottle at 't Fonteintje Kortrijk. Black beer lasting tan head. Some sweetness. A little toffee. Quite an interesting quad. Packs a punch on the finish. Carries abv well. Some hop sting on the finish. A little crystalline ginger flavour. Really interesting. Not just full of dark malt and sugar. Yep i liked it

330ml bottle. Pours Ruby brown with a medium head. Aroma is molasses, dark chocolate and raisin. Subtle. Taste has raisin, liquorice and dark chocolate. Touch of smoke.

Bottle, 10%. Sweet and fruity aroma. Some metal and a lot of berries in the nose. Spicy and medicinal touch. Clear dark chestnut colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is sweet, roasted, alcoholic, bitter with a spicy and slightly medicinal, herbal note. High bitterness, but not too much. Very flavorful, and for those who like sweet, strong, and spicy beers.

330 ml bottle as LeFort 10 Donker - Dark - Foncée, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Mahogany colour, small beige head. Aroma of malts, brown kandij sugar syrup, caramel. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour like the aroma, sweet and alcoholic. Won't buy again, there are better Belgian strong ales out there.

Amber/deep red, clear with a large offwhite head. A fruity nose with some caramel, yeast and sweet malt sense. Sweet with a dried fruit, bread and slightly alc end. Medium-full bodied, quite nice

33cl bottle from Super Food in Aruba. Translucent mahogany brown color has deep reddish highlights. Small, firm, creamy tan head. Rich, dark malt aroma hints at treacle and black currants. Huge malty note of treacle and prunes in first sip. Boozy notes as well. Sticky, oily mouthfeel. Some spiciness on backend, perhaps from the yeast and hops. Though not overly complex, the layers of flavor become more noticeable as the brew warms.

Bottle. Practically clear brownish amber body under a huge, fluffy beige head. Aroma has brown malt, spicy yeast and mature fruit. Taste is sweet and malty with brown sugar, spicy yeast and some warming alcohol. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Well made, pretty classic Belgium brown/dubbel style beer just the way the Belgium make it. Not super complex but still enough complexity to make in interesting and still rather easy drinkable. Very food friendly as well.
