Our latest Brut IPA is inspired by Rosé Champagne. It's nice and dry, with just the right amount of fruit notes coming from the hops to allow the strawberries to shine. Delicate hibiscus augments the colour and brings a floral touch.

Brewed with BrewDog Reading for Collabfest 2018.

Hazy orangey peachy colour beer, small bubbly pale apricot colour head. Palate is light and has a reasonable minerally crispness. Light berry fruits and hibiscus tang. Very light winey vibe. Light finish. Nothing like a sparkling rose but not too bad.

330ml bottle. Hazy reddy pink, no head. Aroma of strawberry puree. Taste of strawberry, a little citrus, a little hibiscus, dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected, the strawberries work really well.

[33cl bottle from the Siren Brewyard, with no mention of Brewdog.] A hazy pinkish colour with a short lived white head and moderate carbonation; floral aroma with just a touch of strawberry; then full of strawberries in the mouth, but nicely balanced by a sourness and dryness; although the strawberries dominate, I also get the hibiscus, particularly as the finish gets drier. An interesting beer.

Keg at the Queens Road Tap during their 1st Birthday Siren Tap Takeover. Pink, hazy and flat. Strawbwrry jam in the aroma, not getting a lot else. Taste is much more complex: a jammy sweetness immediately suppressed, truning lightly bitter and dry toward the finish. While not visibly noticeable, the sharp carbonation plays well, lifting the body. I'm fond of Brut IPAs as a style. This is one with a neat little twist. Recommended.

Bottle. Not labelled as brew dog,I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known their involvement. Nose is strawberry, jolly ranchers, hibiscus, straw. Taste leads with hibiscus, mineral, light strawberry tea, straw, very dry finish with hibiscus. It's only ok, I like hibiscus and it's pleasingly dry, but it's fairly one note.

Bottle from the Brewery online shop. Pours hazy pink with a thin white head. They've nailed the rose wine aromas, light red fruit. Taste is more strawberry, some of that hibiscus coming through. Light sweet finish.
