Tap at Port Street Beer House, Manchester. 03.11.13. Purple tinged, dirty brown colour. Minimal, tan head. Aroma of pear drops. Has a toast with butter and jam sweetness too. Taste is ripe fruit, with a caramel sweetness. The booze is well hidden. Finish starts off sweet and ends dry. Ridiculously easy to drink. The fact I wanted more than would have been good for me, helps give it the high rating!

A very dark brown beer with a beautiful, big, dense and beige head. The nose of dark fruits, sightly sweet, spices, raisins, prune and hint of strenght of alcohol, with yeast also sweet berries and marshmellows. Taste of dark fruits, some roasted malts, lots of herbal-spicy dryness, that dominates the end. Almost full bodied, smooth and pleasant carbonation, that makes this beer nice and almost easy to drink. A high potential beer, complex and tastefull.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of roasted malts, brown sugar candy, and resin. Similar though stronger flavours with additional fruity/vegetable notes. Well balanced. Suspect this is better in a bottle.

From a 75 cl bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a dark reddish brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of peaches. Flavors of caramel and some peach. Subtle boozy finish. Medium mouthfeel with light carbonation. Not your ordinary abt/quad but quite nice.
