IPA - Triple New England / Hazy Regular
Score
7.95
ABV: 10.0% IBU: - Ticks: 18
For the tenth in a series of collaborations celebrating our first festival, Friends & Family & Beer, we had the honour of brewing with Monkish from Los Angeles. Graced by that kind of company, we felt our only option was to go big and juicy, so this TIPA aims to combine tropical fruit bowl flavours with a silky mouthfeel and solid drinkability despite its high ABV.

Aroma & Flavour: Pineapple juice, tangy passion fruit and soft cantaloupe melon.
Body: Smooth, juicy and full-bodied without being heavy, dries slightly in the finish.
Aftertaste: Mango sorbet, grapefruit zest, pine and resinous hop notes

Can shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours a cloudy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has juicy citrus and sweet grains with light tropical fruits and rind supporting. Flavor has creamy sweet citrus with citrus rind and a sweet grain backbone.

Can big thanks to my bro. It pours murky creamy orange with a small, foamy white head. The aroma is bright, juicy, tangy apricot, peach, papaya, mango, melon, ripe fruits, orange creamsicle, green vibes, weedy and some sponge cake. The taste is dry, boozy kick, thick and sweet, fruit punch, orange creamsicle, peaches and cream, papaya, greenness, weedy and some aged cheddar with ripe tropical fruits through through he finish. Medium+ body and fine, yet lively carbonation. A big ole punchy beast. Maybe a touch sweet, but fun anyhow.

Canned 27.03.2019. Massive beast of an IPA. Thick, juicy and fruity, with a good bit of alcohol in there. Lots of stone fruit, moderately bitter but also fairly sweet, quite peachy. These are the beers for which the style exists. Awesome stuff.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the Cloudwater London Taproom. Pours super murky orange with a small, creamy off-white head. Real dense, lots of pureed tropical fruits, papaya, melon, mango, fleshy orange, light rindy bitterness, some alcohol, pale malt undertones. Full bodied, chewy and oily, with fine carbonation. Warm to hot finish, lots more gooey tropical fruits. Good hop sauce.

Can. Don’t know where from. Muddy, dark orange. Thin and leggy, lasting, white head. Nose has ripe mango smoothie. Ripe pineapple. Orange cordial. Pear and apple pomace. Sweet, creamy, and spicy biscuit grain. Taste is similarly sweet, with a nice level of fruity, citrus rind bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Fairly thick and smoothie like. Fine carbonation. Lingering, juicy fruit bitterness to finish. Hard not to chug.
