Can: Poured a thick black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tobacco, light coffee and bourbon with some residual sugar notes. Taste is a mix of residual sugar notes with some tobacco notes, some residual sugar notes and light bitter coffee notes. Body is somewhat full with oily texture and good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Tobacco notes are too dominant for this be truly enjoyable.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, bitter chocolate with coffee grind, light meaty notes, light grassy hops, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla, light powdery character, alcohol warmth, light peated notes, nice overall. Bottle at Pushkinwows New squirter inauguration.

Bottle shared by AdamC on 5/21/16.
Rich, viscous-looking dark mahogany body seems opaque and is topped by a small, tan head showing average retention.
Intense, oily coffee and roasted malt notes in the nose are joined by rich toffee, vanilla and fudgey chocolate notes. Dark fruits linger brightly on the finish.
Again it’s quite intense in the mouth, with an alcoholic undercurrent and liqueur-like coffee and vanilla. Buttercream, milk chocolate and dense fudge. Low carbonation, somewhat loose in texture despite all of this sweetness. Earthiness and more roast dry out the finish somewhat but it comes off very messy and overdone, to my tastes. Lightly syrupy and with alcohol heat lingering.

750 ml bottle thanks to AdamChan. Awesome appearance, oily viscosity on the snifter swirl, aroma is very nice. Coffee presence is strong, cake batter, charred grain.

The base has a solid amount of cake batter makes this stout. Coffee seems more forward in the aroma but still found in the flavor at a decent level. Mouthfeel is full and chewy. It drinks like,a much smaller stout, the 12 percent is hidden really well. Overall pretty well constructed.

75CL from the glorious HB, pitch black, tan head fades fast. This smells REALLY good. cocoa, fudge, coffee. the mouthfeel is really thin until a solid swish then it really blows up. It’s really nice. so whiskey is at this intense vanilla coconut flavor. coffee for days. even minutes later, still persists. This was nice.
