Clear light caramel colour. White bubbles, gone fast. Aroma of apples, light sour. Apple juice flavour, sweet, sour touch. Somewhat reminding of a sweeter apfelschorle. Finish apples, light lingering sourness.
Apple juice in geuze? Really? And then call it Tradition? Why..

37.5cl bottle from Terre de Boisson, Calais. Clear gold colour with thin white head. Some sourness and some biscuit on aroma. OK, slightly sweet gueuze. Nice enough base lambic, just a bit too sweet for me. But a nice sour edge to it. I liked it.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with slight bubbles and a very small amount of bubbles. The nose has apples and a touch of apple vinegar and some citrus pith thing. There seems to be a dense texture (on the nose if that makes sense). The taste has serious cider notes - dry apples, apple compote in the middle and even cider vinegar. The palate has a medium body which is surprising for this style. The texture continues with the richness.and there is a dry refreshing finish. Overall, I really enjoyed this.

0.375l corked bottle @ Braai Tapperij de Mug, Middelsburg. This is a clear champagne soda-colored beer with a small quickly islandy and sidesticking off-white head. I was expecting (and hoping for) a tart acidic and sour aroma, but that's not what I get at all. It's almost a bit sweet with sugar syrup, fruits and some sulfur-thingy going on as well. Not horrible, but definitely not what I was expecting. The flavors: oh yeah, that's more like it! Not to sour in any way(I was also here hoping for more), it's more subtle with good sour tones. Lots of acidic lemons, zest, hay, sour yogurt and malts. It's average to soft carbonated and it has a really mild and kind oily texture in the mouth. Long mild dry lemony aftertaste. This was actually really tasty and almost just what I wanted right about now. 30.05.2012

Briney, farmhouse nose, not strong. Hazy golden, effervescent, thin head. Lime flavor, sour and tangy, but simple. Fizzy blood texture. Surprisingly good.

6/I/2012 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 35/5/13 (2012-14)
Clear orange beer, nice white head, unstable, adhesive with nice lacing. Aroma: rotten fruits, wet leafs, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lemony sour start, green apples, turning to sweet, apple sauce, Appletise (or Kidibul), sweet sugary. Aftertaste: green apples, bitter ending, apricots. And then we read the bottle. Apple juice 5%, wtf? Since when does geuze contain apple juice???

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kulminator: A: clear golden with a white head S: apples, slightly floral & sweet, slightly tart lemons T: taste follows suit, apple juice mixed with sweet slightly tart lemons, touch floral with a gueuze buried underneath, touch artificial sweetener, slightly sweet barnyard & yeast – it is not exactly sweet but it isn’t sour either really, it is basically a bit like a middling gauze mixed with sweet slightly tart lemons & a splash of apple juice – a pointless compromises really which shuts out most groups which might have been interested – still too sweat four a sourhead – B: medium

33 cl bottle @ home, rated on 31.01.2009.
Aroma has slight sourness and earthy notes. Flavour starts with sourness and earthy notes with some sour apples. It ends up to a sweetish finish with candi sugar. Decent, but I like my gueuzes more sour and less sweet.

Pours a nice yellow to golden colour. Smell was a bit off i think. Bit musty and not very sour. Taste was okay. Mouthfeel was very nice for this type of beer.
