Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London during the 1st Birthday Party. Thanks to Ian for sharing his local wares. Pours clear amber with a frothy, white foam head. Dry, bready malt aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with modest, semi-ripe fruits, faint dry caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decently sweet finish, some melon, sugar. Not a traditional dopplebock by any means, but it’s nice enough.

Bottle shared from Deanso. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a little port, malty dark fruit and unfortunately glue! Made me not want to sniff too much! Flavour is light to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle shared with Kermis. thin off white head. Hazy amber pour. Clear oak notes but the beer seems out of balance. Nice try though.

33cl @ Café Derat, Utrecht. BB 30/09/2012. Jura aged. Brought back by Erik (the owner) from his Kent trip.

Bottle at the brewery. Plastic aroma some malt so some fruit too. Aroma dies off a bit. Some hop on finish. Toffee malt comes thru.

Bottle, thanks to Ian. It pours clear golden amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is oak, sweet fruit, syrupy, prune, raisin, brown bread and glue. The taste is syrupy tinned fruit, oak, odd tanginess, glue, raisin and prune, with a dry finish. Medium body, low carbonation and slightly syrupy. All over the place. Not great......

Bottle shared at Craft by Harrisoni. Cheers Ian. Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Gloy glue nose! Smooth palate, light. The glue carries over in to the taste unfortunately. Mild sourness and glue. A little oak softness but this is a mess. A retrograde step for the promising brewery - hope this does not curtail the oak aging programme.
