Incredibly bright, and yes..... Zesty! Great citrus aromas, light herbs, light pepperiness. Incredibly refreshing, pithy bitterness but still zesty, and bright and citrusy. Wow! Great stuff.
A golden saison with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett and fruity esters, light cloves, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light fruity esters, light cloves, Brett, very nice for a 5 year old beer.

Bottle from Fromagerie Atwater. Le Castor Brett Zeste Saison 5% Opaque gold with a thick white head that leaves a ring of foam around the glass. It has an aroma that is zesty with wheat, eggy and mild sweet tarts candy notes. Medium bodied with a good seltzer like carbonation and a semi-sweet citrus, candy notes and wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy bright golden colour with a big frothy white head, a long stay and some foamy lacing. Saison aromas with the sweet yeast, citrus notes, grassy hops and the wild yeast in the background. The earth is felt way more in the taste with citrus fruits, grains and milder hoppiness lingering away. A nice mix of both styles. Maybe just a little too much earthiness in the taste for my likings.

Hazy light tan. Not much head. Bit yeasty, plasticy phenols, just a touch of brett. Medium body, decent peppery spice, just a touch of brett, not really kicked in yet, moderate bitterness, and a good whack of moderately bready malts.Decent, and punches above its weight class.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy bright golden color with persistent compact head. The aroma is dominated by the Brett, it’s very funky and spicy, some smell of old and moldy wood. The mouthfeel is very smooth; the malt is in the background, but it shows nice crisp qualities; unfortunately there is a woody and vegetable note that is too strong, and breaks the harmony; the final is bitter, with bitter orange peel, citrus oils, a bit pithy.
A good beer, but edgy, rough; I expected more; maybe the Brett has worked too much in the bottle.

500mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy golden with a large white head. Aroma is hugely citric, with light brett funk. Flavour is a citrus bomb, with tons of citrus juice and zeste, followed by light funk and hay. Too citrusy for me. It ruins an otherwise good beer. Meh.

Bottle: Poured a clear bright yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with dry zesty flavours is more subdued then I was expecting. Taste is a nice mix zesty flavours with some dry light Brett notes and some light cereal notes. Body is about average with good retention and some lacing. Not bad but flavours were a lot more subdued then I was expecting.

500ml bottle at Tangent. Pours slightly hazy blond with a white head. Aroma and taste are tart, parfumy, flowery, bretts, berries, very pleasant. Flowery hoppy aftertaste. Very good.
