Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy bread, sponge cake, biscuit, cereal, spice, nougat, candied orange peel and marmalade. The taste is crispy, dry, peppery spice, bitter - sweet, hearty bready malt, sponge cake, iced bun, grassy, straw, cereal, snappy, nougat, peppery spice and a nip of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. This style is often too sweet, but this one has a nice kick of bitterness and freshness to it. Works very nicely.

Bottle online from Beer Merchants. Pours a hazy orange colour with a huge thick fluffy off white head. Aromas of citrus orange, fruity sweets and doughy white bread. Taste has more notes of citrus orange, grass, quite herbal and perfumy with some alcoholic warmth. Full body, fairly low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad.

Helles Bockbier mit 16 % Stammwürze und 6,6 % Alkohol. Sehr trübes orange. Recht hopfig, recht fruchtig (schönes Spektrum aus Zitrusfrüchten, etwas Birne). Fast schon wie ein gutes IPA. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt bleibt weitgehend verschleiert. Recht frisch und süffig, angenehmes Mundgefühl.

Bottle. Golden amber with a large white head that never disappears. Aroma of honeyed hay, gentle herbs, hints of citrus. A fair bit of body. Moderately sweet with a richness that is mouthfilling and then fades to let gentle but classy hops take over towards a modestly bitter finish. Very agreeable Bock.

Half-litre bottle (BB 9th January 2022) in Foersters Feine Bier on 13th October 2021. Mini haze to the golden body, white crown on top. Malty front to both the aroma and taste, some orange like esters and flavours too. This was my last beer in the little session I had with the wife before we headed off for a Currywurst & Pommes and more beers in another bar.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange amber, decent head, citrus nose. Great balance of sugars with the citrus hops & bitterness. Much more pleasant than the usual overly sweet bocks.
