Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, small beige head. Aroma is malts, soft roast notes, port, light red fruit notes. Very nice. Good body and carbonation, oily texture. Lovely.

Almost clear very dark amber brown beer, tidy bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, airy and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Complex and fluffy and somewhat watery, but hey plenty of good stuff here. Toffee malts with good overripe orchard fruits and a touch of prune. Decent tawny port fruits, caramelized fruits. Light spicy finish. Could do without the esters but a tasty affair nonetheless.

Bottle. Almost black. Vinous aroma with raisin. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with raisin and porto. Full bodied. Has complexity. Nice.

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Cloudy black, lasting, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of blue plum, dates, raisin, custard, chocolate, almond, wood. Taste has sweet dates & raisin covered in chocolate with a soft creamy & nutty edge, bittersweet mocha, some toast & wood leading the way to a peppery hoppy finish where dark fruits linger as well as warming whisky & port alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. My kind of BA, really nice!

Billie’s ‘19. Brown with a small tan head. Aroma of alcohol, malt, oak, booze, port and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
