Bouteille 33cl de Vinochope, Perpignan. No BB. Noire, col fin café au lait, léger filament huileux au verre. Arôme clairement marqué par le lactose et de fines effluves de framboises, douceur vanillée en rétro-nasal - peu d'apport des marshmallows - malt cara/chocolaté - le tout semble un peu surfait. Palais est épais malté, caramel fudge, chocolaté avec trop de douceur lactose/vanille amplifiant le tout. Peu d'effervescence et un léger fruité de framboise qui donne un effet fruité restant sur un côté purée sans le caractère fin aigrelet/terreux de la framboise. Sauvé par son étiquette. Pas mauvaise mais trop doux et sucré en dessert stout.

Dark brown with a light brown, foamy head. Sweet and fruity aroma full of prunes, vanilla and pistachio ice cream. The taste is not as persuasive: uniformly sweet with an artificial feel at the end. A sort of marshmallow candy with a dollop of cough syrup. Body medium to full, lightly oily, carbonation is soft. I’m indifferent.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and toasted malty. Fruity, sweet and caramelish. Toasted finish.

Dag 2 i Lokomotivværkstedet (maj-19), og jeg nærmer mig indspurten. Kveldens nest sidste, og igen fra fad: brunsort med godt skum der varer. Chokolader, vanilje, lys kaffe og marshmallows - alt i en velbalancered komposition, dette blilver ik for sødt. En smooth, kraftig og ret lækker dessertøl. Kvelden nærmer sig en afslutning.

Sample@Copenhagen Beer Festival, KPH Volume (20/04/2019) - black pour with a tan head. Sweet dark malty with milky chocolate, some caramel, medium body, vanilla laden chocolate malty close.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, thin light brown head, Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, sweet candy. Taste: Roasted malt, burnt marshmellow, rather strange bit herbal / spicy candy-like, brown sugar notes, some chocolate, vanilla and smooth lactose notes. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitter. Not as sweet as I expected, but I dislike that strange burnt and bit herbal / spicy candy-like flavour that is dominating the beer. Not my kind of beer.

Caña en el Lupulo Feroz Oviedo 20..02..2019. (r25). Color negro con espuma beige persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados con suaves dulces y algo de vainilla. Sabores algo secos al final ligeramente amargos. Cuerpo ligero a medio fácil de beber, algo áspero al final. No está mal. Normal.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light marshmallow and herbs, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light marshmallow, chinotto spices, vanilla, light coffee, nice and smooth. On tap at L'autre oeil.

Way too much vanilla and lactose for me, turned metallic and nasty. Good body, though, and flavors they were aiming for are definitely there. Not a real bad beer, but not really my taste for sure.
