Featuring hops from Perrault Farms in Toppenish, Washington
Getting all aggro can sometimes be a negative. Getting aggro with your hops however? Awesome. (Try singing that aloud in your best Stone Aggro heavy metal falsetto). Equally awesome: getting aggro with hop agronomy. It's often a tradition passed down through generations, as is the case with Perrault Farms in Toppenish, Washington. Since 1928, the Perrault family and friends have honed their craft to breed new hop varieties with ever more awesome (sing it again) flavors and aromas. This beer features the powerhouse hop Citra as well as two new varieties - Sabro and the as-of-yet unnamed HBC 692. These new beauties balance classic citrus notes with intriguing hints of coconut, herbs and stone fruit. We've gotten aggro many times with our beers since 1996. So a tip of the hat to aggro agronomists like the Perrault family who give us the tools to aggressively propel our craft forward.

Pours a luminous yellow gold from draft. Fresh citrus. Hopd bite and resin. Pretty nice beer

Vibrant yellow gold with a medium sized soapy white head that left good lacing. Bitter with leafy floral hops. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Can shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear gold with a light, foamy white head. Tasty, with good balance, citrus fruits, restrained piney bitterness, supportive pale bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced finish, some resinous pine, more pale bread, citrus accents. Solid, drinkable IPA.

Can, 7%. Good caramelly aroma, teaish and a little soapy. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. Vanilla flavour, must be from the hops. Distinct, but clean and pleasant bitterness. A good and well-balanced beer.

Can. Pours nearly clear pale straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit, with estery touches and notes of malt. Bitter and citric flavour with floral and fruity notes and touches of yeast. Lingering bitter aftertaste with citric and estery hints. A nice one. Well-balanced and with a nice selection of hops.

Rocky white head stayed on a clear pale golden body. Pine, citrus & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a sharp clean back. Well balanced tasting with fruity hops, pale malt, pine, citrus & faint malt tastes. Cracking!

Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds, drunk at home. Very light golden colour. Very llght grassy aroma, a bit of grape. Bitter taste but not overly so, with some aggressive hop bitterness in the back of the throat. Some grapefruit in the finish. Heavily carbonated. Not a lot of subtlety here but it's a nice old-school IPA.

Can picked up from Die Bierothek® München ofand consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 14th March 2020, we moved here one year ago this weekend! (tomorrow to be exact) we're listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6Music. We're making Spice Marinated Beef Kebabs, Aubergine Rolls and I was going to make an Ice Cream but we'll have that tomorrow now. Pours gold with a white head, nice furry bitterness, good hoppiness throughout, like it but not as good as some recent Stone beers.

Clear golden coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma is quite grassy, herbal and still showing a lot of fruits, such as white grapes, citrus and even some tropical fruit notes, but way more malt-centric and medicinal than hoppy. Medium-bodied; Strong robust grass and hay flavours up front with a floral and noticeably cleanser-like bitterness that shines through and doesn't leave much else in terms of the flavours or complexity, but at least some of the tastes are pungent and relatively unique, but very crisp and dry throughout. Aftertaste shows the East Coast IPA bitterness and definite citrus twang throughout, but also a robust malt and medicinal/astringent finish that is strong, but nice. Overall, a very hoppy beer early on, but fading to a crisp and balanced beer with a lot of alpha acids leftover. Better than most Stone beers for sure and is worth trying to find, for a change! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington (Crystal City), Virginia on 13-September-2019 for US$2,54 sampled at home in Washington on 05-October-2019.
