F: thin, tan, not long lasting. C: dark brown, hazy. A: malty, boozy, candy, dried fruits, dark fruits, spicy. T: malty backbone, vinous, warming alcohol, roasted malts, caramel, bit coffee, chocolate, bit herbal, medium carbonation, full body, quite nice, enjoyed, sample draft shared with Germany and BE RB crew @ ZBF 2018.

Sample at ZBF 2018, thanks Belgian RB table. Brune foncée, col fin café au lait, doré et huileux au verre. Arôme reste dans la lignée d ela bière de base, Aquavit apporte une bonne touche fraiche. Palais est malté, caramel, sec sur le grain, aquavit plaisant et donne encore une bonne dimension de bouche, le tout sur un accompagnement de fruits noirs, houblonné léger en rétro, citronné.

Cloudy black with a lasting, foamy, beige head; some lacing. Strong aroma of spices, roasted malt, coffee roast, fondant, bourbon, dark fruits & licorice. It tastes medium malty & chocolatey sweet and light to medium roasted & spicy bitter. Toasty, spicy finish with warming bourbon alcohol, but also a vodka-like effect. Full body, syrupy/creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Tasty & boozy, but not overly so which I would expect in the Rum version. Nice experiment.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2018. Black, small mocha head. Nose is liquorice, caraway, dark liquorice BE dark fruit, clear alcohol Aquavit, caramel, herbal syrup. Very BE but it works alcoholic Aquavit, liquorice, lots of liquorice, dark fruit, bit too plastic,… Body is thick, lingering Aquavit finish, nicely done but bit more of an interesting BE dark beer than an RIS overall (still).

Clear dark brown to purple beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, bit fruity, alcohol, some chocolate, decent stuff. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity, nice roast, some chocolate, more druid fruits, decent stuff. Aftertaste: bitter, alcohol, dried fruits, cherries, more chocolate, bit sour, nice!
