Bouteille 75cl de la Cave à Bières, Yverdon, partagée @ Sebletitje post-Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017. Trouble orange, col blanc retombant vite.

Thanks to Sebletitje! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Sebletitje post-“Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017” dinner. A Barrel Aged wit beer with strawberries & Kölsch yeast. Oh my & the end result reminded me of Hanssens Oudbeitje. Hazy orange with no head. Nose is lovely acidic puckering strawberry, vinegar plastic. Taste is sour Oudbeitje style strawberry puckering acidic, lemon, big sour strawberry, juicy, lovely. Really enjoyed it.

25/XI/17 - 75cl bottle @ Sebletitje's post-“Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017” dinner (Brussels) - BB: XII/2019 (2017-1985) thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!
Pretty cloudy beige to orange beer, no head. Aroma: very funky, pretty dirty, rotten strawberries, oh boy, this is not very promising. Raw strawberries in beer always turns out bad, at least in my opinion. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour, lots and lots of vinegar, acidobacter, way too sour, no, this is not good. Aftertaste: still very acidic, rotten strawberries, lots and lots of vinegar, way too sour, man, I really don't like this. Surprised at the other ratings, as I thought I wasn't the only one to dump my glass in the dump bucket. :p

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Lots of strawberry and raspberry aroma. Sour tongue, berry finish, in a beautiful combination. Very well done!
