The search for the dark origin of the Umbral Abyss took us to the absolute deepest parts of the ocean, where light does not exist and the pressures are inimicable to life. In this Hadal trench we discovered its source. Millennia trapped in oak have rendered complex layers to the beast. Age has tempered the malts to bring forth rich chocolate flavours, and the aged rum has lend a sweeter, more rounded, finish to this most evil of beers.

Bottle. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is floral, some toffee mild roasted and chocolaty tones with some slight spiciness. Flavour is rum, chocolate, some roasted and ashy tones with mild fudge and some caramel tones. A bit too ashy/heavily roasted for my taste.

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Milk chocolate, coffee, notes of rum. Taste: Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee with milk, notes of mocha, rum. Moderate bitter. Medium sweet, smooth, oily. Some lightly harsh burnt notes at the bit boozy finish. Above medium body, below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Ok, but not that exciting.
